2011. The multiculturalism ministry of Canada reported that more than 15,000 Parent and Gra

ndparent Super Visas have been issued since its launch.

The multiculturalism ministry defines The Parent and Grandparent Super Visa as a flexible family visa which is growing in popularity. The ministry also stated that they are committed to reunite families. It is because of this visa more families are reunited and more parents and grandparents are getting the opportunity to spend longer period of time with their loved ones in Canada.

The approval rates of these visas have also increased up to 86 percent with over 1,000 Super Visas issued monthly. The Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of applicants to come in Canada for recreational purposes and to stay with their family for up to two years at a time. It is valid for up to 10 years. This kind of visa allows parents and grandparents to travel in Canada back and forth.

The simple and trouble-free application procedure for getting this visa makes the visa process simpler. To be eligible for The Super Visa, the applicant must provide evidence that the host child or grandchild meets a minimum income level. They should also prove that they have purchased a comprehensive medical insurance and have a sound health. These conditions are enough for parents and grandparents of Canadian permanent residents to get a Super Visa and to join their families for a long holiday.
