If you want to come to the UK to study at a school, college, or university, to pursue your higher studies or for a new study course you will need an acceptance from your education provider (CAS number – Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) and a Tier 4 Student Visa. The visa application process can be intricate, with a range of information required to support your case. This includes evidence of original documents to demonstrate sufficient funds to support yourself while pursuing studies in the UK, and documentary evidence that shows that you have been accepted and have an established academic year. The CAS number is issued by the university, which helps to score 30 out of 40 points when it comes to scoring points for eligibility for General Tier 4 visa. This visa entitles the student to stay in the UK as per the duration of the course. Sometimes a course requires ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme) clearance, print out of this certificate should be provided.

If your application is categorized as a “low risk student” you will not receive any invitation for the interview.

If you score the points requirements and present the evidences required, there is a maximum chance of visa getting granted.  If you do not send in all the original documents required, the UK Visas & Immigration department will not contact you to ask for missing documents. The incomplete or incorrect applications will be refused in the very instance. And the visa application is refused. The International Office Immigration guides and gives full details about the Tier 4 General visa.
