The Canada Express Entry 2015 enables skilled migrants under the skilled workers category to migrate to Canada. To accomplish the Objective and as a precursor to the minimum 67 criteria, the system arranges interested migrants by ranking them against each other using certain set of parameters. The tool that makes use of these parameters, ranking and selection is called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

  • Accompanying spouse or common-law partner
  • Skill transferability
  • Provincial nomination or a qualifying job offer of arranged employment

The total number of available points under the Canada Express Entry CRS is 1,200.
If the primary applicant is not accompanied by your spouse or common-law partner, then the break of points under CRS are as follows:

  • Core human Capital: Maximum 500 points
  • Skill transferability: Maximum 100 points
  • Either a provincial nomination or a qualifying offer of arranged employment: Maximum 200 points available

If the primary applicant is accompanied with a spouse or common-law partner, the break of points under CRS are as follows:

  • Core human Capital of Principal Applicant: Maximum 460 points
  • Core human Capital of Spouse: Maximum 40 points
  • Skill transferability: Maximum 100 points
  • Either a provincial nomination or a qualifying offer of arranged employment: Maximum 200 points
